Ran home from work again today and shaved about 7 minutes off my average time!  A lot of different training aspects are really coming together. I think that the weekend training session helped me see what I can achieve and the monthly “before” and “after” shots recording the changes to my body as I train have allowed me to see how far I’ve come in terms of physical transformation. This has been particularly helpful in looking back when I query how far I’ve been able to progress on a day-to-day basis. On the whole, I feel pretty buoyed up.

Not sure to what extent going vegan has helped, but am (almost) faithfully following Brendan Brazier’s “Thrive” book and if it ain’t broken…   Also tried my first cup of Japanese matcha tea today. Not overly palatable (like drinking green algae), but it’s meant to be packed with loads of anti oxidants and packed like slow release rocket fuel. You need to be a bit careful in case you end up using it as a caffeine substitute for the buzz, so drink only in emergencies. Drank it this morning, so am pretty sure that the effects would have worn off by home time.  Again, if it’s only a placebo effect, am definitely not going to question!
